Douglas S. Teasdale is the founding member of Teasdale & Associates, LLC. Mr. Teasdale’s practice focuses on complex business litigation, corporate formation and acquisitions, real estate matters, as well as serving as general corporate counsel to a broad range of individual and corporate clients.

With an emphasis on providing legal services and traditional counseling to his clients, Mr. Teasdale has broad experience in contract law, business litigation, corporate law, corporate formation, shareholder agreements, contract drafting and enforcement.

Mr. Teasdale has frequently represented small businesses and closely held companies in the purchase and sale of other shareholders, family members or whole companies or assets. He has represented shareholders in shareholder derivative suits, limited liability members in membership suits, enforced non-compete contracts through injunctions and drafted and negotiated employment agreements in a broad variety of industries as diverse as the medical field and broadcasting. Industries he has served include real estate, insurance, manufacturing, health care, software programming, and consulting.

Mr. Teasdale has served as bond counsel, as well as successfully tried over 30+ cases to verdict, in multiple jurisdictions in Missouri, Illinois and Federal Court. Mr. Teasdale has successfully argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals.

Mr. Teasdale is a native of St. Louis and has been active in a wide variety of charitable organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Previously, Mr. Teasdale was on the Board of City Academy, a non-denominational, primary school in the City of St. Louis. Mr. Teasdale volunteered at the Matthew-Dickey Boys & Girls Club as well as for the Young Friends of the Missouri Botanical Gardens and the Young Friends of the Art Museum. Mr. Teasdale is active in the local chapter of the Columbia University Alumni Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three daughters, and are residents of the Central West End.
